QUALIFICATION CARDS

WHAT IS A NATIONAL QUALIFICATION CARD?

ADITC has developed an identifying card which can be issued to everyone who has a national qualification, and everyone who is registered as an assessor with ADITC Ltd.

This will be useful as an immediately recognisable proof of holding a qualification.  You still need to have an keep the testamur (the parchment certificate) which you receive because that is the formal issued qualification and companies should keep a copy of the testamur in their personnel records, but the card is easy to carry to site and less easy to damage.

The cards are durable tamper-resistant plastic in credit-card size, with a photo of the holder.  Both front and back are printed for qualifications record.

On the front, each card identifies ADITC as the issuing body, including our national Provider number (registration number)  The card shows the name and picture of the individual, a unique ID  number and date of issue.  It identifies the qualification issued by code number, level and sector.   Levels may be Statement of Attainment, Certificate II, III, IV, Diploma or Advanced Diploma.  It also identifies the industry's usual term for the qualification level - Driller's Assistant, Driller, Senior Driller, Drill Supervisor, Operations Manager.

The reverse of the card lists the standards which make up the qualification which the person has gained.  This reverse sample is a Certificate IV level.  It shows the list of DRT (drilling-specific) standards.  Some qualifications include BS standards (these relate to business skills areas, or training and assessing, BC standards (relating to building and construction areas) or MN standards (relating to Mining areas).  The BS, BC and/or MN fields may be blank, depending upon the qualification issued.

The cost of issue will be included in the audit cost for applications for new qualifications.  If you already have an existing qualification the cost will be $50.  You will also need to provide a passport photo.

Cards issued to Assessors will have a blue background, and are not printed on the reverse.  Cost if part of Assessor registration.
